Ownership and Licensing

Eventact Ltd. ("Eventact") retains full ownership of the Eventact API ("API"), including all associated intellectual property rights. This Agreement grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the API, subject to the terms outlined herein. This license does not constitute a sale of the API or any related rights.

Authorized Users

The API is provided solely for customers using the Eventact platform. Unauthorized access, redistribution, or modification of the API is strictly prohibited.

Usage Quotas

Eventact may impose usage quotas and rate limiting based on subscription level or agreed-upon usage. These quotas may restrict the number of API calls, data transfers, or other resources consumed within a given period.

Data Privacy

Eventact will handle all data accessed or transmitted through the API in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of the API complies with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and any other relevant legislation.

Access and Credentials

Access to the API requires authentication via a unique API key, which is issued to users following a login process with valid credentials. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their API key and must not share it with third parties.

API Key Security

Users must keep their API key secure and prevent unauthorized access. Eventact reserves the right to suspend or revoke access if API keys are compromised or misused.

Client Side Access

If users intend to access the API directly from a web client (browser-based application), they must contact Eventact to enable their specific origin. CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) settings are restricted by default for security purposes.

API Usage Monitoring

Eventact reserves the right to monitor API usage.

Developer Support

Developers' support must be agreed upon in advance and is not part of the general support agreement and SLA.

Compliance with Terms of Service

Use of the API is subject to Eventact's Terms of Service. By using the API, users acknowledge that they have reviewed and agreed to abide by these terms.

Modifications and Termination

Eventact reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate API access at any time, with or without notice, if a user violates this Agreement or the Terms of Service.

Disclaimer and Liability

The API is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Eventact is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from API usage.

By using the Eventact API, users agree to the terms outlined in this License Agreement.
